About The Position

The facilities coordinator works is responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds. Under this role you will support the scheduled maintenance vendors, spontaneous office requests, future planning, and upkeep of the Plymouth and Elk River facilities. This role offers a combination of hands on with minor maintenance, the ability to understand the problem and direct vendors, up to documentation processes, and ability to obtain and communicate deadlines. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular daily facilities walks, including the inspection of the building utility closets, electrical panels, common areas, exterior grounds, and restroom cleanliness & engage in solution processes with supervision of the Facility Manager
  • Ability to perform tasks both inside an office environment, manufacturing facility, and outdoor setting.
  • Serves as main point of contact and direction to external vendors for services such as HVAC, janitorial, lawn care, landscaping, pest control, etc.
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature or level, including all tasks related to moving furniture, white board installs, minor door adjustment, spill response, and janitorial demands as needed.
  • Works directly with the Front Desk Team and other key stakeholders to engage in documentation processes as it relates to vendors, processes, supplies, and utility improvements.
  • Respond to various ad hoc requests related to areas in need of attention, repair, or replacement parts
  • Lead the execution of PM programs for various facility needs, including HVAC filters, documentation process, and other parts prone to over-use
  • Capability to fill in to shovel snow and apply salt to areas to support the flow of pedestrian traffic.
  • Verify functionality of cameras, proper sight angles, clean as needed.
  • Maintain our loading dock cleanliness and respond to dock calls as needed.Document and procure items as it relates to door locking mechanisms, water filters, fitness equipment, and major building items that demand maintenance.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to report to Plymouth and Elk River Facilities with an approximate split of 50/50
  • Report to work Monday through Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm with capabilities to work overtime
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of your shift
  • Capable to lift 75lbs
