About The Position

We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to take ownership of BodySpec’s growing facility network and expansion projects nationwide! This role combines day-to-day facility operations management, vendor sourcing, construction coordination, and problem-solving. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure new storefronts launch smoothly and existing locations remain operational and optimized. You'll Love This Job If: • You take pride in building and improving physical spaces – storefronts, offices, and facilities – and enjoy managing hands-on projects from start to finish. • You’re comfortable working with contractors, vendors, and service providers to make sure everything runs smoothly. • You enjoy solving unexpected challenges like facility outages, maintenance needs, or construction delays without breaking a sweat. • You’re organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to juggle multiple timelines and priorities. • You’re excited about helping BodySpec scale nationwide by developing new locations and improving existing ones.

Requirements

  • Experience in construction management, facilities operations, or project coordination is strongly preferred.
  • The desire to learn, master, and apply technical and operational concepts is required.
  • Standardized Test Scores: If you’ve taken any standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, ASVAB, or others, we request you to share your scores. This is not a requirement and will not be a sole determining factor for hiring decisions, but it helps us learn more about our candidates since we do not conduct pre-employment testing.
  • This position reports to the Production Manager and works closely with the Expansion Manager.
  • Work will take place at our offices in Austin, TX. Occasional travel to other BodySpec operating regions will be necessary.

  • Order furniture, fixtures, and materials for new location launches.
  • Handle storefront outages (internet, electrical, HVAC, etc.) and coordinate resolution.
  • Submit claims for maintenance or repair work as needed.
  • Manage facility improvement and buildout projects from site preparation through opening.
  • Coordinate contractors, architects, and vendors throughout construction and installation phases.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and timeline goals.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards for all facilities.
  • Develop standardized processes for rapid location scaling and facility upkeep.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth handoffs between expansion and operations teams.
