This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Engineering Design Team Project Coordinator to join our team. This role will serve as the primary administrative and coordination hub for our engineering design projects, ensuring efficient communication, timely project delivery, and seamless cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in an engineering environment
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with engineering design processes and documentation systems
  • Knowledge of CAD software and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or technical industries
  • Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering design projects by creating and maintaining project schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring deliverables are met on time
  • Facilitate effective communication between design engineers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
  • Organize and document project meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes
  • Maintain project documentation, engineering change orders, and design records
  • Track project budgets and resources, providing regular status updates to leadership
  • Identify potential project risks and coordinate mitigation strategies
  • Assist with vendor coordination and procurement activities related to design projects
  • Support the implementation of project management tools and methodologies
