About The Position

Facilities Helper Title: Shift: F - Shift; 5:45AM-6:00PM Only work 3 (36 hours) to 4 (48 Hours) days per week! Compensation & Benefits: Medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage. 401k w/company match. FLSA: Non-Exempt. Essential Accountabilities: Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility. Collection of trash in all areas and maintenance of the trash compactor area. Operation of the floor scrubber to maintain all floors. Monitor plant and grounds cleanliness and correct problem areas. Responsible for handling and baling recycled materials. Will be required to work plant shutdowns to meet project deadlines during available time. Assist facilities techs when needed. Contribute to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related work, as needed or requested Required Skills: High School Diploma or GED Must have some experience maintaining a large facility Knowledge in construction, plumbing, operation of power tools and light equipment a plus Forklift experience a plus but not required. Obtaining certification will be required. Must be a motivated self-starter and able to manage time while working alone. Must pay close attention to detail Must be able to work as a team player Must be able to follow instructions well Must maintain excellent attendance record Must be able to pass a functional capacity exam for facilities tech including pushing, pulling and lifting of 50# on a continual basis while baling. Limited travel may occasionally be required Mostly inside work, some outside. Work environment can vary from both outdoors to indoors and from very hot to very cold (winter). Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Must have some experience maintaining a large facility
Must be a motivated self-starter and able to manage time while working alone.
Must pay close attention to detail
Must be able to work as a team player
Must be able to follow instructions well
Must maintain excellent attendance record
Must be able to pass a functional capacity exam for facilities tech including pushing, pulling and lifting of 50# on a continual basis while baling.
Limited travel may occasionally be required

Nice To Haves
