About The Position

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our dedicated team! If you have experience with equipment repair, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems—and enjoy hands-on problem solving—this is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills. In this role, you will work closely with experienced maintenance staff, gain exposure to a variety of facility systems, and help ensure our operations remain safe, reliable, and efficient every day.

Requirements

18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma or equivalent; trade-related training is a plus.
Manufacturing experience preferred; food production experience is a bonus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
Forklift license or ability to obtain.
Ability to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and building systems.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from plant staff and management.
Complete repairs in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Assist with welding, cutting, and pipe fitting as needed.
Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized maintenance or repairs.
Operate forklifts and other facility equipment safely.
Follow schematics, prints, and instructions to complete tasks independently.
