About The Position

The Facilities and Operations Manager is responsible for the overall facility management of the Longo Campus, including the safeguard and general maintenance of the property. The Facilities and Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations regarding housekeeping, maintenance, upkeep, reconditioning, renovation, and security of the property per company standards. The position oversees contractors/vendors/business partners under contract for property renovation projects and maintenance; and must be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, procedures, and materials as well as local building codes, OSHA regulations, and health, safety, and security regulations. This is an exempt role. Wages include Base salary range of $115,000 - $145,000 depending on experience. Requirements

  • A minimum of three (5) years of progressive experience in facility maintenance, with a minimum of two years (3) in a supervisory position directing a multi-functional staff
  • Previous experience with security and surveillance camera systems with strong analytical and organization skills and full proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as good interpersonal skills
  • The ability to formulate capital expenditure proposals and work with contractors and vendors to estimate project costs
  • Ability to coordinate activities, schedules, and oversee a team of 8+ employees while addressing multiple priorities effectively
  • Full command of the English language
  • Valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of facility maintenance, janitorial, and other designated staff.
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the maintenance and janitorial teams to ensure work is performed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with company standards.
  • Oversees all routine and preventive maintenance throughout the dealership, including painting, roofing repairs, windows, doors, flooring, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other building structure components.
  • Plans, coordinates, and manages facility improvement and repair projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Oversees renovation, remodeling, and capital improvement projects, including coordinating timelines, resources, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develops project schedules, tracks progress, and provides updates to leadership on project milestones, risks, and completion timelines.
  • Contracts with and oversees the activities of outside vendors and contractors to ensure quality work, compliance with safety standards, and timely completion of projects.
  • Plans and manages departmental budgets to ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining facility standards.
  • Oversees purchasing activities, ensuring the best possible price, performance, and supply solutions are secured.
  • Purchases and tracks dealership housekeeping, maintenance supplies, and other miscellaneous items as directed by management.
  • Develops and implements new methods, procedures, and systems to improve facilities maintenance and janitorial service performance.
  • Inspects grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine the necessity of repairs, maintenance, or improvements.
  • Works alongside the Fixed Operations Director and/or General Manager to forecast staffing needs, maintenance schedules, and inventory requirements.
  • Assists in coordinating building space allocation, layout adjustments, and facility-related communication systems as needed.
  • Reports to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its facilities, or its personnel.
  • Supports initiatives related to employee transportation, facility logistics, and vehicle inventory control when necessary.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal requirements related to facilities operations.
  • Assists in other areas of the dealership and performs administrative duties as needed to support operations.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in all actions and decision-making.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
