About The Position

Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group (JAM) is looking for a full-time Facilities Operations Manager to ensure each of our 15+ venue properties are well-maintained, in compliance with local regulations, and aesthetically appealing to our clients on their special day as well as for group tastings, venue open houses, and tours. Requirements

• 5+ years of facilities management, including understanding of building construction, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other typical facility functions.
• Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience including hiring, training, managing, and developing staff.
• Proficient in understanding contracts, building permits and layouts, using and training others to utilize tools required to fix, repair, and build as required.
• Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle.
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced work environment where changing priorities and focus will occur on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Demonstrate leadership skills that adhere to JAM values of quality, integrity, teamwork, growth, humor, and sustainability and our culture of inclusion and diversity.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with venue managers, our construction department, and outside vendors regarding venue repairs, maintenance, upgrades, new construction, and all other matters related to our venues’ physical facilities and grounds.
• Ensure JAM venue property equipment and buildings are kept in excellent condition through maintenance tasks & schedules, and the ordering of equipment, parts, and supplies as needed.
• Manage the construction and facilities team with weekly meetings and collaborate with them on troubleshooting repairs.
• Manage opening and closing of seasonal venue structures (i.e. tents and winterization of facilities).
