Requirements

Requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Forklift Certified
Ability to use powered tools safely.
Working knowledge of basic construction tools.
Demonstrates good safety practices.
Ability to manage vendors.
Working knowledge of general facilities.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures/policies to determine appropriate action.
Communication skills.

Organization skills.
Problem solving skills.
Project Management skills.
Support facilities emergencies.
Use a computer for simple functions.

Responsibilities

Supports local facilities emergency needs, 24/7
Prioritizes daily work of Facilities Techs.
Supervises local projects as needed.
Advises manager of expenditures.
Interacts daily with subordinates and/or functional peer groups.
Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled or semi-skilled nonexempt employees.
Typically supervises 2 or more direct reports.
Performs basic to moderately complex repairs of equipment, including electrical.
Support facilities emergencies.
Use a computer for simple functions.
