Requirements

  • EDUCATION: High school graduate.
  • EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of building maintenance, grounds maintenance, general trades, skilled trades, moving services or mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Formal training in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Experience in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis.
  • SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE

Nice To Haves

  • Maintain a valid Driver's License.
  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
  • Lift heavy objects or work in uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time.
  • Frequently communicate in person or by other means of technology.
  • Spends a major portion of time using a computer.
  • Work overtime or alternate work schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for tracking all movement of items in and out of the Distribution Center warehouse, along with ensuring proper paperwork is accurate and complete. Ensures that all equipment over $500.00 are properly tagged.
  • Coordinates pickup and/or delivery of incoming and outgoing shipments in the Distribution Center. Responsible for receiving shipments into the Distribution Center and working with CHFS DPS and vendors as necessary. Delivers requested inventory items as needed.
  • Maintains accurate and perpetual inventory of items in the Distribution Center warehouse in the electronic Procurement, Payable, and Asset Tracking System. Maintains the Distribution Center filing system.
  • Assists in coordinating and conducting the annual physical inventory. Assists in the coordination and delivery of surplus property and electronic scrap.
  • Responsible for maintaining the distribution center warehouse by ensuring order and cleanliness.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
