About The Position

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the daily maintenance, safety, and operation of a 17,000 sq. ft. building and its grounds at 36 Wall Street. This role ensures the facility is clean, secure, and fully functional for staff, clients, and visitors.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities management, maintenance, construction, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Experience with project management, budgeting, and forecasting capital needs
  • Understanding of health, safety, environmental regulations, and building codes
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to supervise staff and volunteers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, Word, Excel)
  • Current driver’s license with excellent driving record
  • Must be available outside normal working hours for emergencies and respond to urgent issues
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, and perform prolonged walking, standing, bending, and climbing
  • Able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and inclement weather as needed
