About The Position

This being an internal opportunity, only current UML Employees, irrespective of Bargaining units are eligible to apply for this position. The Facilities Security Officer and Site Security Manager is a multifaceted role responsible for managing and implementing the security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard company personnel, property, and information. This role will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with national security requirements, developing and managing insider threat programs, and overseeing site security operations.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen
• Must hold or have held a TS-SCI level clearance within the last three years
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 4-6 year’s work experience as a Facility Security Officer or similar position.
• Must possess practical knowledge of NISPOM, DCSA and DIA requirements, and insider threat program guidelines.
• Must have experience with physical security systems, personnel security, document and visitor control.
• Must successfully completed DCSA Facility Security Officer (FSO) Program Management for Possessing Facilities, Insider Threat Awareness, and Establishing an Insider Threat Program trainings

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., ISP®, CPP, CISSP) are preferred
