About The Position
You’ll gain hands-on experience with: Security monitoring, incident detection, and response using SIEM and endpoint protection tools Networking and operating systems (Windows/Linux) in real-world environments Cybersecurity workflow automation and scripting with Python or PowerShell Analyzing logs, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending mitigation strategies A great day in this role means: Monitoring systems, solving real-world cyber security challenges, and knowing your work helps protect critical infrastructure. Requirements
- Foundational knowledge in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Understanding of security tools and concepts (SIEM, endpoint protection, log analysis)
- Academic Level: Graduate or Undergraduate (Juniors or Seniors)
- Degree: Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science/Analytics, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering
Nice To Haves
- Python or PowerShell scripting
- Data analytics, log parsing, or security workflow experience
- Hands-on projects or internships related to cyber defense or IT security
