About The Position

A loving family of four living on the Upper East Side is seeking a temporary Family Assistant/Nanny to step in while their unicorn, long-term nanny, takes maternity leave. The role begins at the end of April and will last until June 18th, when the family leaves for Europe for the summer. The role will be Monday through Friday, about 50 hours per week.

Requirements

Prior experience as a Family Assistant or Personal Assistant in a private home.
Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented.
Comfortable working in a household with children and an active schedule.
Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize independently.
Service-minded with a warm but efficient demeanor.
Discreet, dependable, and professional.
Adaptable and resourceful in a dynamic environment.
Experienced and willing to cook
Legal to work in the US
Available from end of April until June 18th

Nice To Haves

The ability to speak French is a huge plus

Responsibilities

Care and manage two very independent and well-mannered school boys (8 and 10)
Assist children to and from activities and appointments.
meal prep and cooking dinners ahead of time
Light housekeeping, including laundry, dishwasher, and rearranging flowers when needed
Manage household errands, including dry cleaning, returns, grocery shopping, and mailing.
Maintain and manage the household calendar; send reminders and prevent scheduling conflicts.
Schedule appointments and coordinate minor home maintenance needs.
Serve as liaison with vendors and service providers.
Provide regular updates and communicate household needs clearly and professionally.
Handle ad hoc projects as needed.
