Assists the Division Director with the overall planning, direction, and management of all Family Resource Division operations. Provides direct supervision to division managers, supervisors and administrative employees responsible for prevention, intervention, and outreach programs under the guidance of the Division Director. Works collaboratively with Child Welfare, and divisions across the Department of Human Services, to promote the safety, health, and stability of individuals and families. Ensures programs are delivered efficiently, avoiding duplication and supporting long-term self-reliance. Partners with community organizations to strengthen resource coordination, improve outcomes for families and individuals, and help prevent entry into the child welfare system. Primary location is in the Greeley office, or at one of the other satellite offices when required, and includes some travel throughout Weld County and across the state as needed. Reliable, predictable attendance within department business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is in-person and is not eligible for regular telework options. The ideal candidate will have the following traits: • Experience in child welfare and/or human services with extensive knowledge of county, state and federal regulations, compliance standards, and best practices. • Committed to strengthening organizational culture, promoting engagement, and creating a positive, supportive work environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to small and large groups. • Skilled in building relationships and collaboration amongst staff, peers, across internal teams, and with community organizations. • Demonstrated ability to lead by example, build trust and foster accountability. • Thrives in both independent decision-making and collaborative environments, with a strong ability to solve problems and navigate complex situations.
