About The Position

This is an onsite position 4 days a week in the Reston, VA office. U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts. Ability to obtain the appropriate government security clearance is required. As a Federal Contracts Coordinator, you will support a portfolio of large, complex federal healthcare contracts by driving day-to-day coordination, tracking, and communication across multiple active task orders and stakeholders. This role is highly collaborative and operational, focused on ensuring contract activities progress accurately and on schedule while maintaining alignment with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements and internal processes. You will work closely with contracts leadership, program delivery, finance, legal, and external government stakeholders to help manage communications, documentation, and status across multiple federal programs.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in federal contracting, contracts administration, subcontract administration, procurement, or related coordination roles
  • Working familiarity with FAR clauses, federal service contract types (e.g., T&M, FFP), and FAR Part 12 commercial contracting
  • Strong organizational and tracking skills across multiple simultaneous efforts
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging internal teams and government stakeholders
  • Ability to operate in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track activities across multiple federal contracts and task orders, ensuring timely follow-through and visibility to stakeholders
  • Support communications with internal teams and contracting officers to maintain alignment on scope, deliverables, timelines, and documentation
  • Assist with preparation, review, and organization of contract-related documentation in accordance with FAR requirements and internal standards
  • Monitor contract status, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues or delays as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate trackers, records, and reporting across concurrent workstreams
  • Provide cross-coverage and coordination support across the contracts team as needed
  • Apply established federal contracting processes while adapting to shifting priorities and program demands
