About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Fiber Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating fiber laser cutting equipment to produce precision sheet metal components while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fiber laser machines and a strong eye for detail.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating fiber laser cutting equipment required
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with sheet metal fabrication preferred
• CNC machine experience a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fiber laser cutting machines safely and efficiently
• Load and unload sheet metal materials
• Monitor cutting operations to ensure quality and accuracy
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Measure and inspect parts to verify they meet specifications
• Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Identify machine, material, or quality issues and report them to supervisors
• Assist with general production or fabrication tasks as needed
