About The Position

Arcadis is looking for an Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Systems Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our Water Business Line in our White Plains, New York office. This is an exciting opportunity for an I&C Systems Design Engineer with process control, automation, and SCADA integration experience to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for I&C and SCADA design, implementation, and configuration services, and startup activities for diverse clients and projects for environmental remediation, industrial & municipal water and wastewater treatment, conveyance systems, and facilities. Please note that is a hybrid position that does require travel up to 50% of the time.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field of study.
4 to 7 years of I&C, automation, and SCADA system design and implementation experience.
In depth knowledge of I&C design documents and their use in construction.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as excellent teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the water and wastewater industry.
Expert level proficiency with multiple PLC and HMI platforms.
Experience in OT and industrial networks, including radio and cellular telemetry networks.
Experience in OT cybersecurity.
Experience in database management for SCADA systems.
Experience in developing bid and construction documents.
