SCS is looking for a Field Project Coordinator. A Field Project Coordinator has extensive knowledge of the health and safety requirements, terminology, processes, and equipment used in the construction and OM&M of various environmental control systems. Tasks assigned to a Field Project Coordinator are typically related to the management of one or more projects and require a field presence to conduct the work. How you can make an impact Responsible for assisting in field project management duties, including: Preparation of site-specific health and safety plans. Review and approval of daily Crew Activity Plans (CAP). Preparation of work scopes (plans), schedules, and budgets. Financial performance of multiple smaller assigned projects or one large assigned project. Manage client expectations and satisfaction with work performed. Communications with the project team, including clients, regulatory agencies, vendors, and subcontractors. Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services through purchase and service order processes. Responsible for reviewing, approving, and analyzing field data based on project types. Provide direction on operational adjustments to environmental control system components based on data review and analysis. Prepare, review, and submittal of routine operations reports to the client. Responsible for supporting field management of multiple smaller projects or one large project. Responsible for the quality of project work and external and internal documents associated with that work per company Quality Management System (QMS). Understand, adapt and actively promote the company’s behavior-based health and safety program. Ensure self and staff perform work professionally, productively, and safe. Oversee and confirm staff have required personal protective equipment for work. Ensure field teams have the necessary safety equipment (ventilation fans, barricades, etc.). Lead or participate in tailgate safety meetings prior to commencing fieldwork. Conduct safety assessments of field conditions and provide recommendations to clients and staff to account for site hazards. Conduct investigations and prepare associated report following any health and safety incidents. Responsible for review, approval, and submittal of employee time sheets and expense reports of direct reports. Responsible for direct-reporting employee performance, including: Introduction of new employees to SCS in conjunction with company on-boarding process Employee engagement regarding possible career tracks Ongoing coaching and mentoring Disciplinary actions, as required Annual performance reviews Participate in talent acquisition process for new hires, including interviews and employment application reviews.
