About The Position

All-Fill, Inc. has been in business since 1969 and is headquartered in Exton, PA just outside of Philadelphia. We design, manufacture, service, and support a complete line of packaging machinery including filling, bagging, check-weighing, labeling, bottle unscrambling, and capping equipment. Our solutions support customers across food & beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, personal care, nutraceutical, household, and industrial markets. We are seeking a Field Service Engineer who is eager to learn and support multiple areas of our business. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, focused on installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining packaging equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate is technically curious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable traveling approximately 50% of the time to support customers nationwide. This position offers the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of packaging technologies and grow within a well-established organization.

Requirements

  • Technical experience in field service, packaging equipment, automation, or industrial machinery.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
  • Ability to work independently in customer environments.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel by air and car.
  • HS Diploma/Associate's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or Electrical field + 10 years field service experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or Electrical field + 5 years field service experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with packaging or processing equipment.
  • Exposure to VFFS systems, fillers, conveyors, or labeling equipment.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • OEM or customer-facing service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site field service support for All-Fill packaging equipment, including:
  • Filling systems
  • VFFS bagging systems
  • Checkweighers
  • Labeling systems
  • Bottle unscramblers
  • Capping equipment
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations as required (approximately 50% travel).
  • Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer facilities.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and respond to service calls.
  • Train customers in proper equipment operation and basic maintenance.
  • Document service activities and communicate findings with internal teams.
