Marmon Industrial Water designs and manufactures water and wastewater treatment equipment solutions, under the brand names Graver Water Systems and Ecodyne. Our technologies include raw water pretreatment, degasification, hot lime softening, boiler make-up, condensate polishing, wastewater treatment, cooling, and oil/water separation for markets such as petrochemical/chemical, power generation and heavy industrial plants. Marmon Industrial Water is currently seeking a savvy and organized Field Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be operating and servicing Marmon Industrial Water equipment. You will be working with (UF) Ultrafiltration, (RO) Reverse Osmosis, (EDI) Electro deionization, and (HMI) Human Machine Interface. To be successful in this role you must establish complete ownership of the equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Flexible team player.
  • Effective communication skills dealing with a variety of parties.
  • Knowledge on pumps, motors, valves, air compressors, blowers, PVC & HDPE piping, electrical 24/110/240/480 volts.
  • Safety conscious problem solver.
  • Work schedule flexibility & provide on call 24 hours
  • Must be willing to undergo background screening, drug testing and safety training as required to access customer sites.

  • Post-secondary education with a technical focus (desired).

Responsibilities

  • Operate and control equipment to achieve desired performance.
  • Conduct inspection of equipment as needed.
  • Conduct maintenance of equipment as needed.
  • Various water sample testing: pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, turbidity, hardness, chlorine, conductivity.
  • Conduct chemical cleans on equipment.
  • Maintain records daily: pre job safety brief, daily service & job safety analysis.
  • Carry out site risk assessments.
  • Monitor equipment integrity daily.
  • Communicate with client as required.
  • Safety with regards to chemical handling.
  • Modify / update standard operating procedures as needed.
  • Other duties as required.
