Work location: This position may be based anywhere in the United States and includes travel as part of the responsibilities. Job SummaryProvides startup, troubleshooting and end user training for lighting control systems. Can easily read lighting and floor plans and interpret specifications to ensure system installations match the plans and meet the end user's expectations. Has enough expertise to handle complex jobs and work with both internal and external stakeholders to address concerns and drive for project completion. This is a remote role with 90% travel from Monday to Friday, allowing weekends at home. Ideally, candidates should reside in the North Central region of the U.S., as most travel will occur within this area.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or Technical Degree or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Working general computer skills, including but not limited to e-mail, spread sheet, word processing, and data entry
  • Strong communication, both written and oral
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Understanding of basic electrical components (relays, drivers)

Nice To Haves

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of lighting control systems and PLCs

  • Performs onsite lighting and control startup, troubleshooting and end user training | 55%
