About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Farm Field Hand with a background in irrigation systems and general farm operations. This role requires hands-on fieldwork, the ability to operate tractors and other farm equipment, and solid mechanical skills to maintainand repair irrigation and field equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a farm field hand or agricultural laborer, with irrigation experience
• Ability to safely operate tractors and farm equipment
• Mechanical aptitude with experience performing basic equipment maintenance and repairs
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and water management practices
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, standing, and performing manual labor
• Valid driver’s license
• Familiarity with crop production, pesticides, and seasonal farming cycles

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, monitor, and maintain irrigation systems
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation lines, pumps, valves, and controls to ensure efficient water use
• Operate tractors and other farm machinery for field preparation, planting, cultivation, and maintenance
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on tractors, irrigation equipment and farm tools
• Monitor water usage and field conditions, adjusting irrigation schedules as needed
• Assist with general fieldwork including seeding, planting, harvesting, fertilizing, and weed control
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and report larger mechanical issues as needed
• Follow farm safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
