Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, and maneuver up to 60 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Able to stand for long periods with repetitive arm movement.
  • Manual dexterity and solid eye–hand coordination.
  • Mental alertness for accuracy and safe performance of tasks.
  • Basic math skills, including weights and measures.
  • Knowledge of product types, perishability, sanitation, labeling, and store layout.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good attendance is required.
  • Must comply with company grooming and dress code standards.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all pricing and item documentation storewide.
  • Enters, verifies, and maintains updated UPC/PLU information.
  • Researches and resolves pricing discrepancies and reports issues as needed.
  • Maintains all necessary computerized records and pricing batches.
  • Hangs all retail tags and signs for regular pricing, promotions, ads, and price changes.
  • Sorts tags and signs by department and aisle before distribution.
  • Completes all resets and ensures correct and complete tag replacement during the process.
  • Replaces missing or damaged tags promptly.
  • Performs scan audits to ensure shelf tags match register pricing.
  • Verifies and corrects questionable items flagged during audits.
  • Ensures compliance with price accuracy guarantee postings.
  • Monitors “not-on-file” items and reports them to the Division Backstage team.
  • Manages markdowns and in-store links in accordance with Division policy.
  • Maintains tag subscription batches, Just4U batches, and other electronic file maintenance tasks.
  • Trains store employees on pricing procedures, tag placement, systems, and record keeping.
  • Identifies and develops employees with potential for advancement.
  • Adheres to all retail labeling laws, federal/state regulations, and company policies.
  • Ensures proper sanitation, cleanliness, and organization of the File Maintenance work area.
  • Follows emergency procedures for equipment or software malfunctions.
  • Operates computers, electronic scanning devices, printers, telephones, and safety cutters.
  • Uses store ordering systems and file maintenance software to process updates.
  • Responsible for performing all duties honestly, accurately, and with integrity.
