Keytronic, Oakdale, MN facility is seeking QA Final Inspector to inspect assemblies for quality, assuring that product meets customer requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.) Familiarity with IPC standards; know how to read BOMs (Bill of Materials), customer drawings, and engineering plots. Understand and recognize polarity as it applies to components added to electronic boards; Be able to perform 1st Articles with assistance; Understand deviations and how they are used when assembling electronic boards; Understand and recognize acceptable soldering techniques Must be able to read and understand work routers, bill of materials, assembly drawings, component identification, and component polarity. SUPERVISION GIVEN/RECEIVED Is supervised by the QA Manager and Inspector Supervisor and has no direct supervisory responsibilities. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach with hands and arms. The environment is fast-paced, time pressured, and requires accuracy. The employee will regularly multi-task between projects, be required to move throughout the office building and production floor. Effectively communicate orally and written. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Requirements

  • A high school education or equivalent along with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience with electronic component inspection.
  • Successfully pass the IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards, and soldering techniques.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good vision, hand coordination and manual dexterity are required.
  • Ability to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic PC Knowledge.
