Finance Clerk
About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Clerk to join our finance team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in accounting and financial operations. Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining several hundred bank accounts, which includes performing transaction research to investigate and resolve discrepancies, conducting regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, and completing monthly bank statement reconciliations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Internship or coursework experience in accounting or finance
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of GAAP principles
