Job Responsibilities: Serve as a working Finance Director, actively structuring, submitting, and finalizing finance deals Oversee all F&I operations to ensure profitability, compliance, and consistency across the department Lead, train, and develop Finance Managers to improve performance, product knowledge, and closing skills Ensure all deals are structured properly and meet lender, legal, and dealership compliance standards Review and approve deal structures to maximize gross profit and product penetration Maintain accountability for finance performance including PVR, product penetration, and overall income Build and manage strong relationships with banks, lenders, OEM programs, and insurance providers Monitor and communicate all lender programs, rate changes, and incentives to the F&I and sales teams Collaborate with the General Sales Manager and Sales Managers to align finance strategy with dealership goals Assist in deal structuring and negotiations, especially for complex or high-value transactions Ensure all contracts, title work, lien information, and paperwork are accurate and completed correctly Oversee compliance processes, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and dealership regulations Establish and enforce daily operating controls and best practices within the F&I department Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and report results to senior leadership Develop and manage forecasting for finance income, product sales, and penetration goals Prepare and present monthly reports on department performance and opportunities for growth Ensure all customer satisfaction and compliance documentation is completed and submitted Maintain high standards for customer experience within the finance process Participate in manager meetings and contribute to overall dealership strategy and performance Monitor showroom traffic and performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement Step in to support deal flow and maintain efficiency during high-volume periods Maintain expert-level knowledge of F&I products, compliance requirements, and dealership policies QualificationsJob Qualifications: Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
