Position Responsibilities The Finance Intern will encompass the following objectives: Introduction to the team: The Intern will be introduced to the Bank’s finance/accounting staff and will shadow the team on a rotating biweekly basis. The Intern will shadow the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, Director of Business Performance & Analysis, Treasurer & SEC staff, etc. The Intern will complete various assignments during each rotation with the finance/accounting team. Including but not limited to, summaries of each division and a final key takeaways report. The intern will be exposed to the finance/accounting function within the Bank. The intern will gain an understanding of various financial and accounting tasks related to the Bank. Minimum Education & Experience Current enrollment in a related undergraduate degree program. Technical Knowledge and Skills Microsoft office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Above average verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to effectively multitask. Compliance It is the responsibility of each bank staff member and of management to adhere to policies and procedures designed to implement compliance with the laws and regulations to which the bank is subject. Each bank staff and management member shall be accountable for understanding how compliance with laws and regulations affects the performance of their day-to-day duties, for completing compliance training as assigned and for carrying out those duties in a manner to achieve compliance with those laws and regulations.
