Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Finance Manager (F&I) or Automotive Sales Manager with strong F&I performance history.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding F&I targets, including product penetration, PVR (profit per vehicle retailed), and reserve income.
  • Strong closing and negotiation skills with the ability to structure deals that benefit both the customer and the dealership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive financing, lender programs, compliance regulations, and aftermarket product offerings.
  • Ability to analyze deal performance, identify profit opportunities, and implement strategies to improve F&I results.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical selling practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment and collaborate effectively with the sales team.
  • Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and finance software.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Structure, present, and finalize all vehicle financing and lease agreements in compliance with lender and regulatory guidelines.
  • Present and sell finance and insurance (F&I) products including extended warranties, GAP, credit protection, and other aftermarket products to maximize profitability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with lenders to secure competitive financing options for customers.
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (including Truth in Lending, privacy laws, and dealership policies).
  • Review and verify all deal paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and funding approval.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure a smooth transition from vehicle purchase to financing, delivering a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor funding and contracts-in-transit to ensure timely submission and payment from lenders.
  • Maintain product knowledge and stay current on lender programs, rates, and regulatory updates.
  • Achieve monthly F&I performance goals including product penetration, revenue per vehicle retailed (PVR), and overall dealership profitability.
  • Deliver a transparent, professional, and customer-focused finance presentation to enhance satisfaction and retention.
