About The Position

KTS is seeking a Financial Program Analyst to support Program Management efforts on government proposals and ongoing program execution. Responsibilities: Develop, analyze, and maintain program budgets, forecasts, and estimates of completion. Track program financial performance including cost, funding, revenue and margin. Perform variance analysis (cost, schedule and revenue) and identify risks and opportunities. Monitor funding limitations and ensure compliance with contract funding and billing terms. Coordinate with Program Managers to support program planning and execution decisions. Support proposal development, including pricing, cost volume analysis and basis of estimate (BOE) documentation. Ensure compliance with government regulations including FAR, DFARS, and internal financial controls. Assist with government audits and internal reviews as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or other relevant degree
  • Three or more years of work experience in financial analysis, program finance or government contracting.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial variance analysis
  • Ability to research problems with limited to no supervision
  • Proficient with Excel (Pivot tables/VLOOKUP), Word
  • Experience with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) and Basis of Estimate (BOE)
  • Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in MS Project-strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of the FARs/DFAR/ITAR and other related regulations
  • Experience working with DCAA and DCMA
  • Experience working with Oracle.
