We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Team as a Financial Accountant supporting the Acquisitions space. Financial Accountants are key members of the Accounting Services Team. These individuals will deliver a best in class service by engaging and supporting our Business Partners within Finance as well as strive to increase Business Partner satisfaction through accurate and timely execution of all assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Education - Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience working in a large corporate environment with a dynamic atmosphere
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to various systems and tools
  • Ability to operate within and meet or exceed tight deadlines while being flexible with duties and scope of work
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Ability to think strategically and manage execution
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Passion for excellence

Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis
  • Research variances on Profit & Loss Statements
  • Incentive Compensation Analysis to determine monthly accrual amounts
  • Employee Receivable and Payroll Analysis
  • Determine costs coded incorrectly
  • Work with HR to determine when expenses hit Profit & Loss Statement
  • Forecast: Analyze data to determine forecast numbers, load forecast into tools, verify accuracy
  • Meetings with Controller and Business Partners as needed
  • Compliance Audit reporting
  • GL Reconciliation
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation
  • Journal Entries – Accruals / Reclass
  • Adhere to Client Accounting Policies, Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
  • Participate in audits as appropriate
  • Intercompany imbalance management between multiple entities
  • Commissions/Royalties verification
