The Financial Analysis & Reporting Manager is responsible for leading the process of preparation and interpretation of complex financial analysis for lines of business. In this role, you will have end to end ownership/management of business processes and works across functions and business departments to drive holistic and consistent solutions.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 6 years budgeting, forecasting, and accounting financial reporting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

  • High level proficiency with Excel is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management application is preferred.
  • Managed healthcare billing/payment experience is highly preferred (Capitation, Risk Corridor, Benefits/Expense ratio, etc.).
  • MBA preferred.
  • CPA, CMA, FSA and/or CFA preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of internal business processes, data flow, controls, excellent presentation skills and our financial systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning for the business unit, rigorously challenge assumptions, and clearly communicate variance drivers and underlying trends to management.
  • Conducts and documents complex financial and business-related analyses and research fields, including financial statement, reconciliation, capitation/Premium Revenue, MLR and benefit expense performance, reserves and support cost of care initiative.
  • Leads projects and focuses on business process improvement initiatives and in some departments will help to create innovative financial solutions to minimize manual or repetitive functions.
  • Consults with and provides management with solutions and recommended actions.
  • Provides guidance, peer review and training to less experienced team members.
  • Provides detailed analysis and reporting for leadership, working closely with company internal and external auditors and clients.
  • Works with business partners to identify and implement strategic projects that support company goals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of internal and external financial deliverables, while effectively supporting enterprise-wide and business unit functions.
