About The Position

Responsible supporting financial reporting, analysis, and planning activities by preparing routine reports, assisting with forecasts and budgets, and analyzing financial data; works closely with senior analysts or finance manager, accounting, and operations to develop an understanding of company performance and financial processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
0–2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role (internships or co-op experience may be considered).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data analysis); experience with ERP, accounting, or financial reporting systems preferred.
Primarily office-based; able to sit at computer for extended periods; ability to use standard office equipment (computers, printers, scanners); sit, stand, walk, talk; occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Responsibilities

Prepare standard monthly and ad hoc financial reports under guidance from senior analysts or leadership.
Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models by gathering data and performing basic analysis.
Support analysis of income statement results and variances to budget or forecast.
Compile and validate financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Partner with accounting and operational teams to support project-level and business-unit financial tracking.
Assist with the monthly close process and support special projects as assigned.
