About The Position

Financial Data Analyst People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join our team. This entry-level position will perform financial analyses, supporting the budgeting and accounting functions. This position is also responsible for identifying trends and developments in our fiscal environments and presenting these findings and corrective recommendations to supervisor, senior management and other interested parties. Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, regular business hours Location: Eagan, Minnesota. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business discipline.
  • 0-1 years of experience in financial and data analysis, research and financial reporting.
  • Physical presence is required for some in-office hours at our Corporate office.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and organizes financial information for the organization creating reports as directed and ensuring that all data is accurate.
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Monitor actual results of financial data against plans, forecasts and budgets.
  • Gather, organize, document, and interpret relevant financial and data information, partnering with other departments on creating dashboards, summaries and outcomes that lead to specific and targeted action.
  • Review with Finance, month end reconciliation practices and outcomes.
  • Responsible for performing financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
