About The Position

WE LOVE OUR WORK. Provides prompt, friendly, and professional food and beverage service to guests while creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience. Takes accurate food and beverage orders, communicates effectively with bartenders and kitchen staff, and assists with beverage preparation and delivery. Processes guest transactions accurately using POS systems and handles cash, credit, and comp transactions in accordance with financial control procedures. Engages guests in friendly conversation, uses guest names when appropriate , and provides personalized service throughout the visit. Monitors guest alcohol consumption and intervene as necessary in accordance with responsible service guidelines. Promotes current property events, programs, and promotions and recognizes repeated or valued guests to ensure elevated service. Assists with setup and breakdown of dining areas and ensures tables are properly set and guest-ready according to venue standards. Maintains a clean, organized service station and assists with dining room cleanliness, including host stand and beverage areas, in accordance with health standards. Restocks dishes, utensils, beverage station supplies, and service items throughout the shift and at close of business. Ensures sanitation practices are followed, including timely replacement of sanitation buckets and silverware soak water per Department of Health standards. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly
  • Excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to accurately count money and make change
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, crowded, and noisy environment with exposure to bright lights
  • Ability to respond to visual and verbal cues and work in confined spaces as needed
  • Physical ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to approximately 35 pounds and frequent bending, reaching, and standing

Nice To Haves

  • One to three months of related experience preferred
  • Prior experience in a high-volume serving environment strongly preferred
