While working safely, the Range operator/C&C operator/Service Utility hereafter referred to as “operator” is responsible for all the overall performance of the finishing range and C&C. ▪ All quality, process, and cost standards are met, procedures are followed and all records, information are maintained correctly. ▪ Observe the fabric being processed, checking for defects or finishing problems, alerting management or QA with decision making on roll. ▪ Collaborate with all team members, QA technician and Management to ensure quality and efficiency. ▪ Input style and finish data into the computer while assuring all settings are accurate. ▪ All paperwork and record keeping for the machine, keying data into the EVS unit and printing maps (EVS & BFD) to go with the paperwork. ▪ Splice and set up the machine for quality and efficiency. ▪ Perform needed distortion measurements and wrapping of rolls per customer specifications. ▪ Cut, check, tag, samples and fabric for Lab testing. ▪ Maintain all records according to ISO standards. ▪ To achieve planned objectives and meet customer requirements, follow all ISO/AS9100 Quality Management System procedures and specifications without unapproved deviation. Practice good workmanship and perform duties ethically. Report potentially non-conforming product to management. Share ideas for improvement. Service Utility portion primarily revolves around the flow of materials such as fabric, tubes, and pallets. Knowledgeable in the safety matters regarding the transfer, receiving, locating, and proper storage of all types of chemicals used in the Finishing Department. Follow all Company OSHA safety procedures. Other duties as assigned
