About The Position

Diversified Services is seeking a Fiscal Consultant who will be responsible for auditing and analyzing ongoing projects with county or state agencies.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience
• Experience with large scale audits
• Experience with accounting systems
• Experience with financial system
• Strong note taker and ability to learn and grow into the role
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong understanding of basic accounting Principals
• Bachelor’s in finance or Accounting, Mathematics or Public Policy

Nice To Haves

• Preference to be fluent in a foreign language.
• Master’s in accounting, Finance or Public Policy
• CPA or any other accounting certification

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects
• Participate in State agencies meeting and internal staff meetings
• Examine and participate audits on current States’ programs
• Run quarterly claim reports for state agencies
• Develop a strong understanding of State agencies’ practice and system
• Work with Business consultant and IT development team
• Create meeting notes
• Create project schedules and maintain project schedule
