Work Description: Read and comprehend drawings, blueprints, or specifications Operate saw, shear, forklift, and crane Plan and layout welding sequence Select size and type of material appropriate for welding application Position pieces to be welded using measuring instruments and hand tools Perform welding operations on a wide range of metals and alloys and using different techniques Finish applications using manual and power tools Maintain safe, organized, and clean work stations Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED required
  • 5+ years of related welding experience required
  • Experience with MIG, Dual Shield, and TIG preferred
  • Knowledge of overhead crane, drill press, and mills preferred
  • Previous experience operating forklift and crane equipment preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. up to 2/3 of workday
  • Other physical activity may include standing, climbing, stooping, bending, reaching, and frequent use of hands and fingers

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MIG, Dual Shield, and TIG preferred
  • Knowledge of overhead crane, drill press, and mills
  • Forklift certified a plus
  • Good communication
  • Basic math skills
  • Previous experience operating forklift and crane equipment preferred
