About The Position

Join The Goddard School of Roswell, GA as a Floater/Assistant Teacher and become an integral part of our nurturing educational environment! This exciting role allows you to support our dedicated teaching staff while engaging with young learners in a fun and dynamic setting. Hours: 9am to 6pm (Monday-Friday)

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Passion for early childhood education and child development.
Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a dynamic classroom.
Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation.
Supervise and engage with children during playtime and structured activities.
Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
Prepare classroom materials and maintain a clean, organized learning environment.
Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress.
Participate in professional development and training sessions.
Adapt to various classroom needs and assist in different age groups as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
