About The Position
The basic objective of this position is to manage fruit packing, packer/sorters, and helpers. The primary goal of this position is to maintain quality defect sorting and overall quality pack. Requirements
- Person may have knowledge of fruit defects, varieties, machinery, and supplies
- Excellent communication and personnel interaction and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to train new hires and promote employees in job functions
- Knowledge of personnel management and hiring procedure
Responsibilities
- Delegate the authority to manage amongst their support staff
- Maintain composure under heavy stress
- Involvement in conflict management
- Monitor sorters, packers and final packing of goods
- Understand and implement shed quality system
