Food & Beverage Operations Manager Regency at Dominion Valley At Regency at Dominion Valley, iconic architecture meets a thriving social community. From elegant dinners to large-scale weddings, our clubhouse serves as the heart of an active adult community that values hospitality, consistency, and connection. We are seeking a hands-on, service-driven F&B Operations Manager to lead daily operations across the property. This is a leadership role for someone ready to take ownership, build strong teams, and elevate the member experience, while working within a lean, team-oriented structure. A Leadership Role Without the Restaurant Grind Unlike traditional restaurant environments built around late-night volume and seven-day operations, Regency at Dominion Valley operates on a structured weekly dining schedule with consistent closing times. Regular dining service concludes by 8:00 pm. on weekdays and early afternoon on Saturdays, with no standard Tuesday or Sunday service. In addition to weekly dining, the clubhouse hosts resident and outside events throughout the year, including private celebrations, community functions, and weddings. These events are scheduled in advance and represent an important part of the operation’s success. This structure allows for predictable planning, intentional staffing, and a more balanced leadership schedule, while still delivering dynamic, high-quality hospitality experiences. You will work hard and lead from the front, but this is not a late- night, seven-day restaurant grind. It is a professional leadership role within a community-centered hospitality environment. Position Overview The F&B Operations Manager is responsible for the overall daily leadership of clubhouse operations, including front-of-house service, event execution, and the complete guest experience. This role provides hands-on oversight of service teams while partnering closely with culinary leadership and senior management to ensure operational excellence across the property. This is a visible, working leadership role. The Operations Manager is present on the floor, actively supporting service, coaching team members in real time, and setting the pace and standard for performance. The Operations Manager establishes and maintains service standards, drives accountability, and ensures that every event, meal period, and member interaction reflects professionalism and consistency. As the operational leader of the clubhouse, this individual plays a critical role in shaping culture, team engagement, and the overall reputation of the property. Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of hospitality leadership experience (club, restaurant, hotel, or event venue)
  • Proven ability to manage teams and drive service consistency
  • Strong presence on the floor with a service-first mindset
  • Experience with event operations and banquet execution
  • Financial awareness (labor control, cost management, service revenue)
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily clubhouse and F&B operations
  • Lead, manage, and develop FOH staff and service supervisors
  • Partner closely with the Head Chef on execution and service flow
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor team members
  • Establish and maintain service standards for excellence
  • Manage scheduling, labor oversight, and daily operational performance
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures
  • Support event planning and execution from start to finish
  • Address and resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
  • Ensure sanitation, safety, and compliance standards are maintained
  • Communicate operational updates and performance metrics to senior leadership
