About The Position

As a Food Runner at Lago in Bellagio, you’ll help deliver a vibrant dining experience overlooking the iconic Fountains of Bellagio. You’ll ensure dishes are delivered promptly and accurately, maintain clean and polished tables, and support the service team in exceeding guest expectations. Through attention to detail, teamwork, and efficient service, you’ll help create a seamless and memorable dining experience that complements Lago’s lively Italian atmosphere.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• 4+ Years of prior relevant experience working in a similar gourmet restaurant preferred

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and relevant greeting, utilize your knowledge of menu, guest preference, service and selling techniques to guide selections
• Knowledgeable of all menu items, prices, preparation method and time, major ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation
• Be familiar with all hotel services, features and local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
• Maintain table cleanliness and utilize a silent service approach
• Itemize bill correctly and efficiently secure payment
• Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense ofurgency
• Work as a team, assist guest and employee needs and inquiries
• Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required
