We’re currently seeking a Food Service Assistant III – Host/Hostess to join our dedicated Nutrition Services team. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face delivering meals and comfort to patients, ensuring their dietary needs are met with care and precision. 🕒 Your Schedule: This position requires working all listed 10-hour shifts on a rotating basis, with start times between 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM and end times between 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Required Shifts Include: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM 7:45 AM – 6:15 PM 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM 8:15 AM – 6:45 PM 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM Weekend and holiday rotation is also required. 💼 What You’ll Do: Deliver meals tailored to therapeutic diets with accuracy and empathy Collect and process patient menu selections and diet orders Adjust menus based on dietary guidelines and patient preferences Provide warm, attentive customer service to patients and families Collaborate with clinical and dietary teams to ensure satisfaction and safety

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read diet orders and perform basic math
• Comfort using iPads and basic computer systems
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout your shift
• Must pass a physical exam and drug screening
• Comfortable working in patient care areas and around cleaning supplies

Nice To Haves

• 6+ months of food service experience (preferred)
• ServSafe certification (preferred)
