Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an accountant, with a thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, Excel
Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Professional certification such as CPA, CFE or CFF

Responsibilities

Prepare and examine financial statements for accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and regulations.
Perform and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Conduct regular financial audits and ensure adherence to internal controls.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and financial analysts.
Maintain and update accounting records and files with precision and attention to detail.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial laws, regulations, and policies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department.
