About The Position

The Forensic Accountant will prepare economic damage quantification resulting from causes of loss. The Forensic Accountant will also handle new and existing assignments. In this role, you must gain an understanding of the insured’s operations and financials in order to prepare an analysis of the insured’s economic loss. Also, the position will require you to assist Adjusters by organizing and tracking estimates and invoices relating to property damage, extra expenses, and any other costs associated with the claims process.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
3+ years of experience in accounting with strong understanding of legal procedures and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools and forensic accounting software.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Must have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills required.
Strong negotiation skills required.
Some travel is required.

Nice To Haves

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

Compile and analyze facts to formulate, substantiate and/or critique financial calculations, theories, claims, or conclusions.

Prepare and present damage analysis and forensic findings in report format.
