About The Position

Forward Deployed (Delta) About Acrisure Acrisure is a global fintech leader empowering ambitious businesses and individuals with customized solutions that drive growth and impact. We combine cutting-edge technology with expert human support to deliver tailored insurance, reinsurance, payroll, benefits, cybersecurity, mortgage services, and more. In the last twelve years, Acrisure has grown from $38 million in revenue to nearly $5 billion and now employs more than 19,000 colleagues across 20+ countries. Built on entrepreneurial spirit, we prioritize leadership, accountability, and collaboration — equipping our teams to work at the highest levels and solve meaningful challenges. Role Summary & Mission The FD Delta is the core builder within the Palantir Center of Excellence — the engine of active development, quality delivery, and technical standards adherence. Where the FD Partner owns the value outcome, the FD Delta owns the quality and velocity of what gets built. Working within pods, FD Deltas translate use case requirements into production-grade Palantir solutions on Foundry and AIP, moving rapidly while maintaining the engineering rigor that enables long-term sustainability. This role is ideal for a hands-on, technically excellent engineer who thrives at the intersection of complex business domains and modern data platform development. FD Deltas are the primary technical voice in the pod and are expected to uphold CoE standards while pushing the boundaries of what Palantir's toolset can deliver. This is a Forward Deployed role, so travel is expected. The range is between 10-30% (2-6 nights/month) on average, with some periods being higher and some periods being lower.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and SQL — core languages for Foundry development
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry (Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Workshop, Ontology) — hands-on build experience preferred; strong full-stack engineers eager to learn are encouraged to apply
  • Familiarity with AIP Agent Studio and agentic workflow patterns; understanding of RAG and human-in-the-loop model architectures
  • Experience with event-driven architectures, API integrations, and cloud-native CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of solution architecture patterns — able to design approaches and engage with Enterprise Architecture on standards
  • Working knowledge of data engineering best practices including pipeline design, data quality, and lineage
  • 2–10+ years of experience building data-driven products and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business workflows into scalable technical solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or similarly regulated industries is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related business field
  • Optional: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

Responsibilities

  • Own active development of Palantir Foundry and AIP solutions across the full delivery lifecycle — from use case definition through prototype, and productionalization.
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Foundry Pipeline Builder and Code Repositories; model insurance domain logic in the Ontology (objects, links, Action Types, Functions).
  • Build operational applications in Workshop, OSDK, and Quiver with a focus on business KPIs and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain AI agents using AIP Agent Studio, Logic, Evals, and Observability tooling.
  • Maintain and enforce CoE technical standards — code quality, documentation, reusability, and architecture patterns — ensuring adherence across pod output.
  • Collaborate with FD Partner on requirements and with FD Echo on deployment readiness, ensuring clean handoff at productionalization.
  • Contribute to Base and Extended documentation artifacts (architecture docs, data science documentation) as required by use case type.
  • Identify and escalate technical blockers, platform constraints, and quality risks through the appropriate CoE channels.
