About The Position

As a Forward Deployed Experience Enterprise Architect, you will drive AI consumption and revenue by creating strategic, customer-specific roadmaps and optimizing platform entitlements. You will accelerate the sales cycle by building bespoke agentic Proof of Concepts (POCs) and leading hands-on Agent Test Drives that provide clients with a tangible, high-impact, try before you buy experience.

Requirements

  • Sr Forward Deployed Experience Enterprise Architect: 5+ years of extensive human resource, financials or IT domain expertise
  • 5+ years of experience in technology solution design, enterprise software implementations, or digital transformation
  • 4+ years' experience presenting to technical, business, and executive audiences both in-person and virtual
  • Principal forward Deployed Experience Enterprise Architect: 7+ years of experience in technology solution design, enterprise software implementations, or digital transformation
  • 7+ years' experience presenting to technical, business, and executive audiences both in-person and virtual
  • 5+ years of Workday experience
  • AI Evangelist: Deep curiosity for the evolving AI landscape (Agents, LLMs, RAG A2A / MCP) and the ability to translate technical breakthroughs into business value
  • Proven success in leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Consulting expertise including current state analysis and recommendations including use of architecture diagrams, technology roadmaps, and business cases
  • Expertise in assessing technical feasibility and ensuring seamless integrations of solutions with existing systems, driving operational efficiency and business value
  • Excellent presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to lead discussions and communicate complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, aligning technical and business objectives to ensure successful solution delivery

Responsibilities

  • Strategic AI Discovery: Create and present customer-specific AI roadmaps based on deep-dive discovery and ideation workshops to quantify and capture business value driven by Workday AI Solutions.
  • Platform Optimization: Support the rollout of Workday’s new consumption model for innovation and platform usage by evaluating current and future technical usage patterns and forecasting consumption needs for the business.
  • Technical Demonstrations: Lead Agent Test Drives leveraging sample sales data to provide a hands-on experience of Workday AI value at scale.
  • Rapid Prototype Development: Collaborate with Solution Architects to build bespoke Workday Demo Platform POCs that showcase agentic solutions unlocking business value in a try before you buy format.
  • Customer Engagement: Deliver custom, hands-on engagements, guiding customers through the technical nuances of their unique POC build.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the team, actively participating in efforts to refine processes, enhance solutions strategies and drive overall operational excellence.
  • Act as a feedback loop to Product & Technology to keep solutions relevant to real-world problems.
  • Collaborate across functional groups (AI Strategy, Product & Technology, Solution Architecture, Consulting Services, Marketing, Customer Service, Industry Advisors and Value Management) to cultivate long-term, sustainable relationships with key Workday customers
  • Demonstrate the progressive value of our solutions to C-level executives, showcasing tangible business impact
  • Champion the development of scalable Workday AI consumption best practices across the NA Solution Consulting organization
  • Support all sales, marketing, technical and channel strategic growth objectives
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time
