About The Position

The Financial Planning Analyst will play a critical role in delivering financial insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role will develop financial models, perform in-depth financial analysis, prepare variance reporting, and support forecasting and budgeting processes. As part of the Corporate Finance team, the FP&A Analyst will collaborate closely with business leaders to guide financial planning, evaluate scenarios, and enhance financial decision-making within a large financial services organization.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Develop management reports highlighting financial performance against key metrics.
Analyze trends and variances in financial and operational results, providing actionable insights.
Reconcile financial accounts and ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
Develop and maintain complex financial forecasting and budgeting models.
Monitor actual performance versus budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
Support annual budgeting cycles and ongoing forecast updates.
Partner with senior leaders to understand business needs and provide financial insights.
Provide ongoing financial consulting, including ad hoc modeling, profitability analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.
Build strong cross-functional relationships to support enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic objectives.
Conduct scenario and “what-if” analyses to evaluate the financial impact of strategic decisions.
Perform ROI and investment analysis to support key initiatives and long-term planning.
Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior management and non-financial stakeholders.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes, reporting, and forecasting.
Implement best practices to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Leverage financial systems, analytics, and visualization tools to enhance insights and reporting.
