About the Role Students hired into this program will spend 10-12 weeks working with the Incubation and Pathfinding Group . Responsibilities may be quite diverse. Experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school. Job responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Work on challenging technical projects that help drive critical business and organizational goals. Learn about Intel's FPGA products and business. Build a robust technical acumen. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Willing to effectively balance technical skills with relationship-building capabilities. Willing to drive for results, a passion to win, the desire to collaborate and competent to build strong, influential relationships. Communication skills. Length of internship: 3 months with the possibility to extend it as per business' needs. Salary Range The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings , etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance. $82,000 - $90,000 USD We use artificial intelligence to screen, assess, or select applicants for the position. Applicants must be eligible for any required U.S. export authorizations .

Requirements

  • Candidate must be enrolled in a University pursuing a Bachelor's degree, studying Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, and possess 3+ months of experience in the following:
  • Programming experience in HDL and/or C++

Nice To Haves

  • Programming experience: Perl, Python and/ or TCL
  • Experience with FPGAs
  • Digital Logic
