About The Position

BELFOR Franchise Group is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Coordinator and broader marketing team in executing initiatives for 1-800 WATER DAMAGE and Blue Kangaroo Packoutz. This role will play a key part in helping local franchise owners grow their businesses by assisting with marketing campaigns, communications, digital projects, and day-to-day marketing operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about marketing execution — someone who enjoys supporting a busy team, managing details, and ensuring projects move forward smoothly and on time. The Marketing Assistant will collaborate closely with the Marketing Coordinator to carry out national and local marketing initiatives, support franchisees with their marketing needs, and help implement creative campaigns that drive awareness and leads. This person will help ensure that all marketing activities reflect brand standards and contribute to the continued growth of both brands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 1–3 years of marketing, communications, or project coordination experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with digital and social media platforms
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude

  • Interest in supporting franchise or small business marketing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Marketing Coordinator in executing marketing campaigns and projects across digital, print, and social media.
  • Support franchisees by helping them access marketing tools, templates, and resources to promote their businesses locally.
  • Coordinate creative production by gathering assets, updating materials, proofreading, and routing deliverables for approval.
  • Assist with content creation and scheduling for social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Update marketing systems and websites, including uploading content, refreshing imagery, and ensuring brand consistency.
  • Track and report campaign performance metrics to help measure success and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Help prepare marketing communications such as newsletters, announcements, and training materials.
  • Assist with onboarding of new franchise owners, ensuring they receive startup marketing materials and brand assets.
  • Support logistics and planning for marketing events, training sessions, and BELFOR Franchise Group conventions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with vendors, operations teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
