Guests arrive tired from the road, traveling for work, visiting family, or passing through Nebraska. You are the first person they meet and the person they remember when they leave. Requirements
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods
- Dependable and punctual
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
Nice To Haves
- Hotel experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right person
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide efficient, friendly check-in and check-out
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and guest requests
- Answer phones and assist guests with information about the hotel and the York area
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
- Balance and manage cash, credit card transactions, and daily reports
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to keep operations running smoothly
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional front desk and lobby area
- Deliver the service standards expected from a Marriott-branded hotel
